PPG helps build and paint bicycles for children in Istanbul through COLORFUL COMMUNITIES project

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 8, 2016 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced the completion of a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project in Istanbul, Turkey, that provided newly built and painted bicycles to nearly 35 elementary school students, including 15 who are Syrian refugees. The Colorful Communities program provides PPG volunteers and products along with financial contributions to bring color and vitality to communities where our company operates around the world, such as in Istanbul.

WARSAW, Poland, Dec. 2, 2016 – LOT Polish Airlines (Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT) has chosen a new chrome-free aerospace primer coatings system by PPG (NYSE:PPG) for corrosion resistance because it is eco-friendly and a preferred PPG topcoat for superior gloss and shine to repaint three Embraer E175 jets and a 737-400 airplane.
